Dai Chi colored

Nice job!!! I really like the motion blur you did on the kick. It looks awesome! Did you get someone to model these poses for you? Is this tai chi? Unfortunately I know nothing about martial arts, except the small bit of tai chi my bf has shown me.

I do have some small critiques. I hope I'm not too late. As he goes from the fourth pose into the kick, it seems he would need to move a little faster to get the right momentum. More as he's turning his body from profile to front than really in the actual kick. The timing of the kick seems fine. The drawings look nice, it's just as though you linger on them too long. Are they on two's for that part? If they're on ones, you might need to remove a few of them.

Also, it seems to me that his spirit light blue fire thing would come out much faster. Maybe even gaining speed as it moves outward. Just something to vary the timing of that a little.

Also, the lines don't look very smooth. I think maybe it is viewing at less than the full aspect ratio. Is that true? The lines don't look antaliased. Know what I mean? You should consider posting this at the show and tell on awn.com. You'd get some good feedback.
