UPDATE I've done it! I'm in Austin now and settling into my new place. My first-ish apartment. Yay. Currently I'm sapping wi-fi from somewhere, but the signal is strong so at least I'm not disconnected from the world. But I'll probably be getting some serious internet for my desktop.

And WOW Texas is hot. :hot: I've lived through some high 80s and low 90s plus over 50% humidity in Michigan. But this is a different heat. I like it but sure means I have to be careful! Hopefully I can get some real comic work done but more importantly, hopefully I can freakin' find some WORK. I needs $$$$!!

I have a new found appreciation for water. At least these apartments ALL have pools. That is so sexy, but I never really see anyone in them. Well, my family will certainly put them to good use. We're from the north...we know when to use the pool. (And that is any time of the year as long as you can stand it. For me only the summer.)

Marron hasn't moved much. It'll take some adjusting for her. Felicity is also sluggish, but still keeping us up at night. ._. Monday, it's back to the grind while the wife finishes our unpacking. :3

It's nice living in a city. Everything is conveniently close. I could walk or bike if it wasn't over 100 degrees out. But it's cooler in the morning and evenings...sorta. So most of my walking tours will be then. Everything should be slowly getting into place. The church is very nice. I like the music program. I may start up cantoring again.
